Day 158: Franz Josef

Our tent was soaking wet, because of the dew, which was fun packing up (not). We stopped at the supermarket for supplies, then drove to Franz Josef, the views getting increasingly more spectacular as the mountains got higher.

At the holiday park, which had a great dramatic setting in the valley, Keiron set up the tent while I sorted out the food. We had lunch, drove to town for some walking routes and sat outside, basking in the sunshine.

In the evening we made chicken tikka massala, which was lovely but very spicey. After, we read our books and made our sandwiches for tomorrow...
