Day 131: That's not cricket!

In the morning, we got the most out of our last hour with the car and drove to the phonebox, a half hour walk away. We finished off the phonecall by calling my mom, who was very surprised to hear from us.

Her voice was very clear, but came to us with a bit of delay, so we always had to wait for each other's reply to come through.

We dropped off the car and the guy was very relaxed about it, he didn't check the car or if we had put petrol in it. I suppose he figured we weren't going anywhere soon.

In the late afternoon I packed most of my stuff. My laundry crisis is soon developing into a laundry disaster: even though we've done some handwashing, the humid climate means you can't really get anything dry and smell-less for long.

I slept a bit better as it was not so hot in the night, although I got a bit of a shock when Keiron jumped up in the middle of the night. There was a big cricket in the bathroom when we went to bed and it had made its way to Keiron, scaring him out of his wits when it descended on him in his sleep...
