There is a post below this and since I plan on more or less being awake for the next 30 hours, I will try to post again while I am here at some point. If it is possible to slur your words on a computer, I will be doing it then.

It is quite scary to see how easily I adapt to the life of a homeless person. It took me less than 24 hours. Maybe I am selling the life short. I arrived yesterday around 1pm. Within that time span, I have been dead drunk, slept on a park bench, woke up, not showered, and started drinking again. I asked someone for some money before and his wife made a snide comment with attitude "Don´t give him money honey...you know he´ll just spend it on booze."

No, but in all seriousness, if you can, book an airline ticket here right now. It´s fucking sweet! I walked the course yesterday. All along the course are little stores. Many of them have pictures of people getting gored that have been blown up to a bigger size from previous years. I´m not sure if that helps sell t-shirts or not, but it´s pretty fucking funny as long as it doesn´t happen to me.

Last night, I was sleeping on the grass in the park when across the way, the sprinklers came on and began soaking people. I got out in time and moved to the bench. But, when I woke up the ground and streets were wet. Not sure if it rained or they just washed down the streets (which they love to do in Spain). When I saw homelss people sleeping with things happening around them, I always wondered how they did it. Well, I slept in today. I think it was around 5am when I went to sleep. I woke at 10am in the square, with hundreds of people around me (all dressed in red and white) and the majority boozing already.

As for Pamplona, it´s pretty small. Not sure how many people live here, but I imagine no more than 200,000. Probably tens of thousands of visitors for the next 8 days. And mom, don´t worry, I think I found 3 running mates...I just have to find them again...
