the people you meet…
Since being in Japan, and especially working at Nikko Park Lodge we have met so many people from all over the world. When we have to make a copy of our guests’ passports Melissa and I always like to check them out, and some are really cool. Before getting my own I had never even seen a passport. Now I think I’ve seen passports belonging to about 30 different countries.
Today alone we met a Japanese man who was a long time architect student of Frank Loyd Write, and a fellow Nebraskan, who checked into the lodge!
What a huge little world we live in

that dude was sweet, to quote he asked me “may I be a part of this congregation man”, as we slept in Shibuya station. I gave him some water and he dumped out half my bottle “for his ancestors”, they must have been thirsty
