After reading a lot about the world over the years, researching many places to go in the past few months and talking to many travelers, I have come up with the following list of countries to see during my around the world journey. I thought it would be interesting to list these countries now to see how well I do by the time I end this adventure (will there be an end?). I have already been to UK, Norway, Sweden, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany so they may not appear on the list…

This is so exciting! So many countries to visit. But there is something clearly wrong with your list for Asia. I don’t see the Philippines! =)

I was in Tanzania for a period of 3 yrs when I was a teen. Ngorongoro National park is a must see game santuary. This place is near the town of Arusha. Zanzibar is a island near the capital Dar-es-salaam. This was a main trading post during colonial period. Good luck once again Rick.

Man, my head is spinning! Sounds like a true world wind tour is off to a good start. During your drive in South Africa, I suggest visiting Rork’s Drift (listen to Rob Gerrard conduct the re-enactment of the British’s great victory, and at the same time visit Isandlwana (where the British suffered their worst defeat in the same day 8 miles away) Year was Jan, 1879. Worth the trip. Well, tomorrow I’m off to Iceland and Greenland for a couple of weeks. Will be following your travels with regularity.
