Cyber Park

Standing in a new city park using an internet kiosk all funded by suppliers to Maroc Telecom including my two least favorite companies Motorola and Nokia.  I wonder if they shut down work sites in Sonoma County to pay for this?  Since I see more homeless folks and beggars in Marrakesh than any other city that I have visited I wonder if this is the best spent dollar.  The king has more money than Allah, but he is not listed as a contributor.  He probably owns Maroc Telecom.  It is nice that I have escaped the horrible diesel fumes of this city and nobody has pissed on this kiosk.  Capitalism in action… 

Capitalism – Alive and Well in Islamic World

I just read that Osama is telling us to give up capitalism. This is quite humorous to me since it appears to be working quite well in Morocco, I saw it in action in East Africa last year and the muslim world in general seems to be famous for everything capatilism such as their medinas and souks and caravans of traders. I also can’t quite remember reading about examples of socialism, communism or other isms taking hold in any of the muslim countries. Maybe he is running some nice social programs from his cave?
