NY
Thursday, November 9th, 2006So I finally got here. Someone told me it’s supposed to be autumn. Dirty stinking liars. I brought cold weather clothes, so, of course, it’s like, 70 out. I’m baking. and not in the smot poking kinda way, either.
But, damn, I missed it. I mean, $1.85 for a donut and a biiiig cup of very hot coffee. And doritos, and pizza, and bagels, and….
Um. Sorry. I get a bit distracted. Wonder off about food. Just smack me. Or something.
So yeah, I’m here, finally, after about 600 hours in airports, and LA. And I’m damned well gonna have fun. even bought myself some huge but ugly sunglasses. Why isn’t m,y school in NYC? Ah well, I can always move back when/ if I graduate.
Staying at Jazz on the Town. Not bad. Not big- it’s a neat old building, tho. And only a couple long blocks to union square.
Ok, back to eat- er… I mean sight seeing.
