Oregon Coast (Feb 20-23)
Did a short hike at Oswald West State Park. Drove to Cape Lookout campground. There was some cool rocky beaches and sand dunes. We could hear the waves crashing all night from our tent. The rocks would get dragged around by the water and sounded like thunder.
Stopped at at least a thousand lookouts off the highway. Saw sweet huge waves and water spraying out of holes in the rocks. South Beach campground was packed full of RVs so we continued to Carl G. Washburn State Park campgroound.
Drove to Samuel G. State Park. Did a couple small hikes to cliffs overlooking the ocean and monoliths. Cool! Made it to Cape Blanco campground and did an amazing hike along crazy high cliffs above the ocean. The hike ended up at a lighthouse.
