Revelstoke, BC (Feb 7-8)

Right after we made it in to Revelstoke we found out that the highway between Revelstoke and Golden closed due to an avalanche. Good timing on our part! The new Revelstoke resort is amazing. We barely made it up the icy road to the hill but the struggle was worth it. Fresh knee deep powder everywhere and next to no one there to ride it! Definitely the best snowboarding of our lives!!!!!Once again no pictures because of our stupid defective memeory card.

Golden, BC (Feb 4-7)

2 hours out of Edmonton the oil pressure alarm went off and we pulled over on the side of the highway. The dip stick showed no oil in the engine. The oil had sprayed all over the engine. We filled the oil back up and put a piece of cardboard over the grill to help keep the engine warm. It was -26 and we are not sure why the oil empties itself out of the car but we have a theory that it happens when the engine gets too cold on the highway. The car made it the rest of the 5 hours to Golden without ejecting the oil again. We stayed in Golden for 3 days of glorious snowboarding. There was tons of fresh snow everyday! Edmund unfortunately smashed his knee into a rock but fortunately he is really tuff and snowboarded anyways. Our stupid memory card erased itself in Vancouver so there are no pictures for this entry.
