Award for Worst Blogger Ever goes to….

I know, it’s been about 5 months since I’ve blogged. I came home from my 15 months of travelling in September. I really wanted to write about a wedding I went to before I left India. That has been what delayed my ‘I’m back home’ post, and then essays and deadlines delayed that…..and now I’m incredibly behind! So I’m just going to use some photos to describe the end of my trip.

This is our gang at Christine and Banshan’s wedding. Christine is one of the teachers at the school.

One of the highlights of the summer was when Ted and I went to a village to collect mud for the pottery class. We went there with three students for a day. One of them, Laaihun, said there was a river she wanted to show us so we went over a little, then another….. about 2 hours later we got to see the river. I think that’s it there in the background, I was too tired to understand. Crazily enough, hours later we went back and the other two students were still sitting there smiling, didn’t seem to mind at all that we’d taken off for hours and made them wait!

The trip up the mountain was worth it! This is Krisdalin, very happy to be working with the mud back at camp.

I’ll have to write about the rest in another entry. Forgot I had so much to tell!
