Oct. 15/16 – WA, Lake Cushman

Day 75/76 – This weekend we spent our time at a cabin off of Lake Cushman near the Olympic National Park with Tom, Peggy, Matt, Shelley, and Eric. It was a lot of fun to just hang out and relax in the woods. We didn’t do much besides eat and play games (including learning how to play Dune on the x box). We went on a beautiful hike in the old growth forest of the National Park and later the guys went out golfing.

On Sunday morning before we left I went on a picturesque hike with Eric up part of Mt.Rose. The leaves were all turning yellow and red with the lake sparkling through the leaves. The sun came out after it warmed up and shined through making the yellow leaves more golden and drawing out the fragrance of moist dirt and crisp air.
