Oct 6 – WA, Seattle

Day 66 – Holly, Cole, and I went down to my Grandma and Grandpa Bottman’s house in Puyallup for lunch. Bob and Sue (my dad and step-mom) met us there. We had a wonderful lunch with a lot of food, and of course we all ate too much food and coffee; but that is what you are supposed to do at grandma’s 😉 It was great to visit with them and say hello. We look forward to the next visit and we’ll try to coordinate it so that Neil, Peter, and Jason can come too.

I went home with my dad to spend the next few days with them in Shelton, Wa. Jason met us at Bob’s house that night.

Sept. 30/Oct 3 – WA

Day 60:63 – This weekend was the weekend from hell. Jason, Neil, and I all came down with the stomach flu on the same day and within hours of each other. Yes, none of it was pleasant and there were quiet a few trips to the bathroom. Holly didn’t get sick because she just had the same thing, but worse, last weekend. So she took Cole and stayed the night at my mom’s house and all us sickies slept all evening and night. And we pretty much spent all of Saturday the same way. We thought it might have been food poisoning, but Holly ate the same food we did last night, so it looks like we had the stomach flu.

By the way, the dinner last night at vegetarian restaurant Carmelita was amazing; a large amount of perfection in each small bite.

We were all basically back to normal by Monday, finally. Jason went down to his dad’s house today to partake in a poker party; unfortunately he didn’t come out with any extra money. I went out with my sister and her friends Holly (yes they have the same name –so we’ll call her Holly2) and Megan to celebrate Holly2’s birthday – hee hee Happy Birthday, girl!!!
