Hot springs

Being a traveler, and while currently planning a trip, I like to spend my time doing some reading about, well traveling. One of my favorite sites (well for everything) is the New York Times website. Mostly I use the the site to read about world issues, business, and technology. But every once in a while, something grabs my attention from one of the other sections. This time around it was in the travel section. An article about Hot Springss in the California area. Mind you, I reckon I am still a ways away from vacationing in swanky California hot springs resorts but still, it got me interested. Now, while I do like the idea of living a lush life, Id take the steak house over the trendy fusion restaurant any day if you know what I mean. If you go back to that article I’m more of a Vichy Hot Springs than a Harbin Hot Springs kind of guy, well I’m not really either but for the sake of comparison. Anyways, long after my backpacking days are over, why shouldn’t I have a spa weekend at Vichy, stop by some of the beautiful Mendocino Beaches , and rejuvenate. I know, this is Shanghai VS. So then i got thinking China must have hot springs I can go to. I can live my California dream right here. Well not really, the only hotsprings I could find were these one . Not exactly the swanky self indulgent resort I was dreaming of. Edge: California. But all is not lost, I figure Im traveling through South East Asia soon. Surely there are some plush resorts my backpacking body can not afford. But wait, Vietnam. A land of dreams. Nha Trang is home to some natural hot springs that look absolutely beautifulnha trang hot springs. For $11 I can indulge myself. This seems ideal. I mean truth be told, I’m not really a Vichy Hot Springs kind of guy.
