Mission Beach
I left Townsville early morning for a short ride north along the coast to Mission Beach. My mission (ha ha) whilst here was to do nothing for a couple of days, by way of recovery from spending three days getting to the coast.
Mission Beach is actually a few small beaches strung together along the coast line with a few little settlements. I ended up staying at the Beach Shack which was just across the road from the palm tree lined beach. Just like staying in a big house with all your mates (though a lot cleaner) it was a perfect base for doing nothing. Which is exactly what happened.
