The best happy hour around
We have heard all these stories from the 18 year old travellers about winning free stuff in the bars in Queenstown. Todd became somewhat obsessed with making it happen, unfortunately we always fall asleep to early… we’re getting so old. Lisa was always making fun of him about “winning free stuff in Bars’… i mean come on!!
Last night we rallied up and went to the bar…not at the 18 yr old free stuff bar… the bar that had 2$$ beers. They started a raffle for a free bungy jump, and what do you know…..
We only won one free jump, so despite all the ridicule, Todd agreed to let Lisa take it. It was 43 meters high (140 ish feet). This is the bridge that Bungy jumping began on… cool!

Wow, I love the waterfall and sea lion shots! Lili, you’re a bungee jumping maniac. Todd, you’re whippe…I mean, the best boyfriend around (but we all knew that already)!! Hmmm..should be start guessing what “going out with a BANG” might mean to you two?
ps-I think you should throw Maui onto your itinerary since you’ll be passing somewhat overhead on your way back ‘home’ in just a couple weeks! I miss you guys!

Is there anything that you haven’t done? I am truly envious of your travels and adventures. I guess I should look forward to having two new companions on my climbing and adventurous outings; although with the way you are going, it seems that you may be out of my league. Keep on keeping on! Knowing you were heading for Tonga and the South Pacific….I hope the BANG you plan to end with did not cause the earthquake that just occurred. Please let us know you are OK.
Has anyone heard from Todd or Lisa since the earthquake?
Todd – heads up since you’ve probably been out of the NCSU loop. After being turned down by Coach Talley, Coach Wells, and Coach Hankins, State finally hired Sidney Lowe, who will take over as soon as he finishes up his credit hours and gets that ever elusive college degree.
