I got out of the hostel, which is good, and ate, which is even better. Feel like a person again. I found a travel store where I got a new day pack. Its much nicer than my old one, and I’ll use it when I get back to the states. The guys knocked off 15$ when they heard my sad story. Looked at cameras and they are insanely, insanely expensive here (freaking imports). I might reorder off newegg and ship it. That is, if my camera isn’t pawned off somewhere. I know I saw a pawn shop somewhere in the CBD, but I haven’t run across it today. Found the used bookstore, Kill city, again. They have owls do cry by Janet Frame which does not exist in the US or Ireland, so I am tres excited to read it. Its one of the top 10 (if not the #1) books from New Zealand. That’s about it. Trying to eat cheaply and then stay in the hostel for the next few days. I might go see a movie on thursday, because lord knows I could use some cheering up. Although thank you everyone who has emailed with good wishes!! It’s really made everything easier.
