It’s a wonderful night for eyebrows
Saturday, June 30th, 2007The wallabies upset the all-blacks. I heard a few fights break out last night as I was trying to get to sleep. And apparently the Sydney opera house is being named a world heritage site (like the exhibition building here in Melbourne – which is the only remaining building from a world’s fair, or something like that).
I am not at the wildlife sanctuary. Tis okay. There are many, many wildlife parks around. Even if this one won lots of eco-tourism awards. And I’ve been in a zoo vet hospital before… I got a wallet today on sale. Its leather, but oh well. I couldn’t find another. I have to do laundry, pack, and try to read a couple of books so I’m not lugging them all to Sydney.
I went through my stuff last night and realized I’m not going to have enough time to wwoof anywhere else. Sad, but okay. Once I’m up in Cairns, I should start applying for jobs in Christchurch and see if I can find a good housing website. A girl in my room said I should try to apply for trip interruption from my insurance. I don’t think it’ll work, but I guess I can try.
