Spent today reading and eating free pasta for dinner. Found out that the flying fox tours aren’t running anymore, but I figured out where the bats are (Yarra Bend park), so after pixar tomorrow, I’ll see if I can find them. I also went to check on replacing my YHA card, only to find out that since it was issued in America, it would have to be replaced there. So I can pay 40$ for a new one, but I don’t think the discounts would help that much. While YHAs were cheaper and nicer in Britain, in Oz they are the same price (with the discount) and tend to be really far away from city center. And I think there is a different chain of backpackers that might be better in NZ. So I’ll look around there. And I’ll see if I can replace my ISIC card.

I personally think Megan has it right, with the Pimms’ Lemonade being the best summer drink. Speaking of summer, I forgot that it was solstice here a week ago (albeit winter), and I passed a new age shop all lit up with candles and brewing cider and stuff. It was very charming.
