Wine, Glass and Goat Cheese

Almost every winery in South Africa has something other then wine to offer. At the Fairview Vineyard they specialize in wine and goat cheese. Seidelburg Vineyard specializes in wine and glass bellowing. Warwick Vineyard specializes in wine and friendly conversation. We visited all of these wineries today.

Groot Constantia

Day 54

Today is the day to go to the oldest vineyard in South Africa- Groot Constantia. Groot Constantia has been in S.A. for 320 years and has won some wine awards. We walked about their museum, or information room, where we learned a bit about the history of Groot Constantia. Did you know that Groot Constansia was established in 1685? Did you know that Groot Constantia is said to be the finest vineyard in S.A.?
