Whale of a Good Time

It’s this time of year that’s whaling season in Cape Town. So since some friends of ours came to visit we decided that we should go see the whales. We first started at our house and then worked our way along the coast looking for them. Unfortunately we saw no whales along the coast but we did see great views of the water. Discouraged that we hadn’t seen whales we stopped for lunch at a seafood restaurant. Italian Ice Cream at the shop followed this.

Awesome Aquarium

Today we go to the Two Oceans Aquarium. After we got in we went upstairs to the top floor to watch penguins being fed. We got one of the spots in the front to watch the penguins from. Some of the smaller penguins couldn’t eat the fish because they were too big for them to swallow. Also there was a fish about twice the size of the largest penguin there.
