Wow, I haven't made an update or done anything with this blog in several weeks. I recently moved out of my parent's house and am living with 2 friends in an apartment so this has set back my plans for SE Asia.

However, it has not set back my plans to travel. I will post more information and preparation through out the next 5-6 months.

I purschased my airline ticket to Madrid, Spain for May 19th with a return flight on June 2nd of 2005. Madrid will be the starting point for a 2 week journey through the medieval medinas of Morocco and the endless desert blanket of the Sahara.

I will travel alone and experience a culture much different than my own. I am prepared to take on the challenge! I have a nervous anxiety towards the whole idea of being in Morocco alone but it is healthy and it is just "the feeling" I have been looking for. A slight adventure but nothing too daring... it will be a nice warm up and test for a hopeful extended trip sometime in the near future.
