Hitting a new currency where you don't truly understand the exchange rate is a great way to spend a fortune while smiling like a goon at all your cable tv channels. And that’s where we found ourselves in La Ceiba, Honduras. Turns out it wasn't as expensive as the suchitoto cupboard we'd stayed in a few days earlier, and after the 9 hours of bus rides from San Salvador to La Ceiba we really needed somewhere nice to crash. We went out to grab a pizza takeaway and ran back to our room to stuff our faces while watching all the greats - oc, sex and the city, seinfield... So we don't have much to say about the town of La Ceiba, apart from that I had a great time there! Comments
