August 01, 200439 Days to Go...
I am slowly, very slowly, it seems, making progress on my enormous To Do list. I signed up for travel insurance, so that's one of the biggies I checked off today. I also took a self defense class, which was a great experience. I recommend it to everyone. Now I can head out with some added confidence about how to handle myself in all kinds of iffy situations. I also determined that the sarong I bought in Thailand last year is just going to continue to bleed, and bleed, and bleed dye all over everything. I'll just need to be careful with it, I guess, and hope it doesn't lose so much dye that its purple hue fades to pink. I hate pink. I also redesigned my website, www.nomadchronicles.com, and rescued a ton of moving boxes and packing paper from the recycle bins downstairs. Just one month left of work, and a million other things to get done, and it'll be time to go! Comments
the blog looks great! congrats on successfully tackling this--one more thing to cross off your list. Posted by: catherine on August 2, 2004 10:17 AMhey amy, just checking out your site since you posted in mine. 39 days left, eh? sooo close! i have about 41 left myself. yeah, if we both happen to be in SE asia at the same time we should totally meet up somewhere. that would be really cool. does this blog have a way of signing up to receive updates, or no? *v Posted by: vlad on August 3, 2004 05:43 PMYay! Comments! I think there's a notification feature around here somewhere...I'm going to look into that. Posted by: Amy on August 5, 2004 02:35 PM |
