June 17, 2005Things I've Learned While Traveling: Greece
I have learned that not only is it possible to ride on a moped while wearing stiletto heals, simultaneously talking on a cell phone, and smoking a cigarette, it is also cool. I have learned that Greece is the Florida of Europe, as least as far as old people who want to get really really really really tan go. I have learned that if you actually expect people in service jobs (e.g. working the register, bagging goods, waiters) to do any bit of work, you can't get them anywhere NEAR a cell phone. Cell phones are kryptonite to Greek people. Comments
