May 09, 2004Kareoke
I think I am spelling it wrong, but spell check is only in Japanese on this computer, and kareoke- well, we all know what I mean. I'll say only this about last night, make that early this morning's kareoke experience at Joy Joy, a chain kareoke bar, which stuffs you and your friends, co-workers and strangers, into a big room, quite likely bigger than my apartment, complete with sound system, multiple microphones, and two televisions with scrolling lyrics across the bottom, highlighted and color coded, blaring whatever you choose to put on and sing along to: my roaring rendition of Bad Religion's "21st Century Digital Boy" did not make it past the first verse.
