Oaxaca

We took a 6 and a half hour trip down south to a town called Oaxaca. Itīs a really beautiful town, all the buildings are painted bright colours. It feels like it should be a beach town but itīs six hours in land. Hereīs some pictures of the views along the road . . . .

We stayed in a hostal called the Magic Hostel for 2 nights. Still living in the GMT timezone and going to bed at 8 or 9 then getting up at 6am every morning. On the first night we went out on a wander around for some quesadillas to eat and found a marching band parading the streets. In front of the parade was a cool police car.

On Tuesday we were sitting out on the square when loads of young Mexican language students came over to us and started practicing their english. That was really cool, they are definitely more advanced at english than I am at spanish but were very shy about asking questions. We also met a one legged guy called Octagon, but that was a totally different experience.

After our two nights were up we got back on a bus and went to the coast. . . .
