In celebration of my 30th year and my new freedom as a single woman, I am setting off to discover the lands of my favorite poets.

Highlights of my trip will include:

• Saint Petersburg: Anna Ahkmatova & Marina Tsvetayeva
• Warsaw/Krakow: Czeslaw Milosz
• Prague: Jarolsav Seifert

Since my family is German, I will also be visiting Lamstedt (a small village near Hamburg where my father grew up) and Gdansk (former home of my grandparents).

My journey will last two months, giving me time to explore, connect, and reflect in each city.
