Da svidanya!

Just a quick entry, as this is my last full day in Saint Petersburg. :( Have had such a wonderful, amazing time! Visited the Engineer's Castle today and bought a book of Anna's poems in Russian and said my farewells to my favorite places. On Sunday night watched them raise/lower the bridges with Erica, a woman from Hong Kong who works in IT and has been in Kansas & D.C. most recently. It has been rainy again this week, so I have been having a relaxing last couple of days, doing a LOT of writing and editing some of the poems I've already written.

I am flying back to Warsawa tomorrow afternoon and spending the night there, then I'm on to Krakow and Prague (I think). Still considering Budapest. Will keep you updated as I know more...

So Beth...is there a snippet of a poem you can share yet?! Allll right...I'll be patient. ;-) Lot's of drama here on the home front, and my own personal...laughable...foray into humiliation...but more on that later. Think "camera phone". Eeek.

Can't wait to hear about more of your adventures into some uncharted territory! Looking forward to it!

As for Gina's supposed "humilition"...I thought the pics were very classy and tasteful! :)
