Sorry for the short notice on this one, but today I serendipitously came across a booth promoting an open conversation with Lonely Planet, including Don George, Emily Wolman, and Jay Cooke plus others.

It takes place tonight (5/16/05) at Embarcadero Hall on UC, Santa Barbara campus from 7-9. And it's free! They're promoting a few contests, and perhaps they'll give away some free stuff. If nothing else, I'll be getting my soon-to-be-read copy of Lonely Planet Guide To Travel Writing by Mr. George himself. (I'm such an autograph slut.)

And yes, I'm baaaaa-aaaack....
