March 24, 2004Back To Vegas!
Well, it looks like I'll be back in Vegas on July 17th for the RUSH concert at MGM Grand. (This tour marks their 30th anniversary.) Joining me will be old ASU pals Randy and Ross, and Ross' girlfriend Jennifer might be joining us as well. If not, we might have an extra ticket. Maybe we can get Brian to go. As fate would have it, my friends Jason and Kristen will be driving thru Vegas around the same time as they make their way from Santa Barbara to Indianapolis where they will be relocating for Jason's new job. So if the timing works out well, I'll get to see a bunch of friends in Vegas that week/weekend. I may try to get others to come out, or look up some friends who we met last time I was out there in March, 2004, so long ago... Woo-hoo! RUSH! (And yes, ladies, he's still single.) Dave, Thanks for the e-mail...glad you are liking your blog and bootsnall.. BTW - I am a big RUSH fan as well. Used to goto concerts with my mates when I was young(er). So far I'm loving the blog, although I haven't used it to its full potential yet. I'm hoping to fill it in a little more in the next few weeks. BTW, I was very wary of blogs until I saw the one you guys did for Jen Leo. (See "Gratuitous Mentions") Now I'm pro-blog. (Not to be confused with a "Probe-Log," which can't be a good thing...) Feel free to check back in July--I'll be posting a concert review when I get back. RUSH will be in Portland on July 3rd, if you're nearby. (Aren't you guys in Portland or Eugene?) (By the way, everyone, Sean is one of the folks at bootsnall.com, the travel site/community that set this blog up.
