The real goods.

Ok, here’s the thing…
Upon arrival in our 6×6 European hotel room, and seeing our twin beds pushed together, and there’s about a total of 2″ available to spread them apart, Miss Vanessa gar s the door hanger which reads “no molestar” – fornthose rusty in their spanish, it means Do Not Disturb, that’s our girl playing with the double entendre!!!! It’s become thebhandy catch phrase many times. You know what they say, you don’t really know someone ’till you’ve shared a 3 star cell with them. That was Friday.

Saturday:
Hope says ” am I annoying you yet”?
Vanessa says “no”……..30 seconds later….
Hope says “how ’bout now?”………no answer

Later that day…..
Vanessa says “should I light a candle in the bathroom?”

We’re still friends….good thing, we still have 2 weeks to go.

Now about Oliver for those who asked, he’s our new German friend from the Black Forest, and is daughter Georgina (aka GiGi). He hosted us on wine, cheese, risotto and a cheating round of “don’t get angry” in which the 6 yr old won ( big surprise).

Oliver is a friend of a friend who risked taking in two blazen cowgirls for an evening, poor chap, he got off relatively unscarred, and may even welcome us back.

More later….it’s Saturday night, we must explore the 10′ wide, dark, gothic corners of every street, in search of the Batcave.

It is now 2PM, oct 31, our time, which means you`ve probably been cruising about 3 hrs. Hope the seas are nice & calm! Can`t wait to hear. Did you get to dine at the Captain`s Table? Is there any Hallowe`en stuff going on? And how are the sea legs?? Waiting to hear!!! ps I`m doing this allby myself…..How about that!!! Take care & have fun!! Love Mom.

    • Hi Mom! Good job on the commenting – I’m proud of you 🙂

We are now officially cruising and IT IS MIGHTY FINE I must say! Sorry for all the exclamations but WOW it is nice. Turns out we don’t get to eat at the Captain’s table, but the main fine dining restaurant we eat at is fabulous enough. They do charge you for all sorts of extras though so you kinda have to watch, but everyone working on the boat is so pleasant. It’s kind of hard typing and editing on our devices so we hope everyone can overlook our spelling and grammatical errors!

Our room is a junior suite and it’s beautiful – quite a bit bigger and brighter than our room was in Barcelona. Hope feels right at home in our walk-in closet.
There is a Halloween party somewhere on board and we see a few people dressed up in costumes but mostly everyone is dressed normally. Right now I’m in a piano bar with a g singing jazz. This boat is huge and we are doing lots of walking finding our way around. The walking is actually a not challenging at times; the boat definitely shifts around but it just feels like I’m on my third glass of wine (haha).

Weirdly enough, I think I want to shop more than Miss Hope if anyone can believe that! And there are plenty of things to buy on the boat but I might just save it for Naples and Sorrento on Tuesday.

I hope you all are keeping well. Hope and I are having a blast laughing and ribbing each other as you can tell by her last post. Obviously the bathroom is not off limits for humor so the gloves are now off and anything goes for public consumption.

Love you and will post again soon.
      XOXOXO
      Vanessa

Hey Batgirl, sounds like there is a problem with typo’s but then again it might be to much of that potent Spanish liquid that comes from the vines.
Vanessa (Robinette, the equivalent of Robin, able sidekick to Batman) you are a saint. Don’t let her lead you into any of those sleezy spanish dens of iniquity. But have lots of fun and shop till you drop.

    • Vanessa says: Hi Mom Jackie! Yes, I am a saint…just ask me! haha

Actually Hope has been quite well behaved! The grammar probs she had were actually problems with this blog site – it’s not been the best for editing as we can’t scroll back up to see what we’ve already typed. And doing this on a 4″x3″ screen means one has to be quite deliberate in thought and data entry…a challenge for us for sure since we are kinda helper skelter right now!

      Take care and chat soon!
      Hugs,
      Robinette
