Nice neighbours
There’s an interesting karaoke bar next to our guesthouse where we are staying on a side street in Siem Reap. It’s not open during the day but at night there’s always six or seven local young women dressed in their best (skimpiest) clothes sitting in there facing the entrance but not singing. In fact I’ve never seen anyone in there singing. They did, however, seem very keen for me to sing a song with them when I walked past last night without Dulcie. I have my suspicions about this place!

They must have heard of the famous Al Paca!
You should have taken your guitar and given them a real surprice!!Sorry we weren’t in when you rang. We’d gone away for the weekend to stay with some friends. We should definitely be in all next weekend!
Dearest Rob & Dulcie, I’ve just caught up with your fab site at work (boss thinks I’m doing reasearch on the web). I keep sniggering though so I am sure I have given the game away. You seem to be having the time of your lives, go for it! All is calm and well here after a very sickly period. Ian has had “you know what” done but thankfully breeze blocks were not used. He is very tender indeed and at one point he eyed up the wheelbarrow as a convenient way of carrying them about! Buster Gonad would be envious. Keep bloggin’ and we’ll catch up soon. Buckets of love from us all xxx
I take it you strode past at a manly pace and didn’t suddenly have to slow down and check your shoelace, hmm?
BTW, I’m told that if one of them waves a pingpong ball at you it’s not an invitation to play table tennis.
Hey ho.
