The city of Vicenza
I am a big fans of travel, so very often I decide to organize small trips, the weekend in search of cities and villages of the Italian peninsula, to be able to admire the history, the past and culture, knowing the monuments , the historical buildings and ancient buildings.
Without any doubt the city that struck me most was that of Vicenza, a delightful town in the Veneto region, particularly interesting for its monuments and its ancient history.
Walking between the streets of its Old Town was for me a truly enjoyable and exciting, I had the opportunity to visit the Palazzo Leoni Montanari, Palazzo Chiericati and Villa Valmarana to Nani, but especially the churches, wonderful examples of Medieval and Renaissance art, particularly the Palladian Basilica and the Basilica of Santissimi Felice and Fortunato.
Vicenza is a city that certainly deserves to be known and appreciated, especially for its extraordinary beauty and its undisputed charm.
