The Avenue of Giants was amazing! Its a stretch of the old 101 highway that weaves through a forest of giant redwoods. The road is literally built around the trees. Lots of the trees were two to three times wider than the car and hundreds of feet high. We wanted to stay in a campground in the forest but it was pouring rain so we stayed at a motel in Garberville.
