Xi’an, Rob and the Terracotta warriors
Que pasa????? Long time, long time but let me tell you everything has worked out perfectly! For example I got to see the 10’000 Terracotta warriors, supposedly the 8th wonder of the world and something I wanted to see for a long time, and although it wasn’t as spectacular as I had imagined, and it’s a big tourist trap, I enjoyed it
Another very cool thing was meeting Rob. Imagine you have been following a blog from someone you don’t know and that person is following yours. There’s no contact except for short emails or comments talking about photography and the places you’ve being bloging about. Now, you have a “date” in front of a big Pagoda to meet him. I was a bit nervous when I got there but a minute after meeting him, it was like we had being friend for a long time. Nice chats about photos, tips and lenses and countless bottles of beer 🙂
About Xi’an I can tell you that it’s a nice city, not so big not so small (China standards), with a good vibe, good night life, a nice Pagoda with a beautiful light and music show, but really really not many things to do. It was good to visit, I had a wonderful time but I’m done! 😉
Now I’m on my way to Beijin, stoping in some towns in between, and hopefully getting there alive,
Check you later!!!
