Plans?
What was I saying about plans? Well I didn’t get round to leaving Manali. I was having breakfast last Sunday when an Israeli guy and two Australian girls turned up, and to cut a long story short have just got back from three days up in the mountains – apparently the season has started now!
Was pretty good, saw a couple of black bears with their mother yesterday, and almost froze sleeping next to the snow at over 3000m on Wednesday night. Walked down today through a building site so I now have an intimate knowledge of how roads are built in india! I now smell quite alot, but have just stopped off on the way back to the guest house to buy my ticket for Shimla for tomorrow morning – decided on the Private De-Luxe bus as the vomit ratio might be lower. Surprisingly it takes 10hours- only 150km- everything takes the same amount of time regardless of what it is! Thought I should finally get round to leaving the mountains, having spent the best part of 5 weeks here!
