The Last Supper
As we pulled up outside the Stag & Hounds memories of many tales from younger years come flooding back, the place of my parents wedding reception. Their very first newly-wed night together! Bless.
We shared fine wine, spirits and beers, accompanying absolutely astonishing cuisine. In fact, it reminded me what fine English food we will be missing when we depart. In 2 days time – gulp!
I cannot express enough thanks to my Mum, Dad, Brother, Grandparents and Nan for presenting an evening to remember. Not only did they all attend 🙂 but with smiles, love and encouragement for the big trip.
Being away for my 21st birthday will be a little odd, however, I was very surprised to be presented with cards and gifts to mark the coming occasion. How very sweet. Rupert and myself were also massively embarrassed when a tap on the shoulder presented us with a glowing candle lit cake, with a rather amusing picture of us both presented on! Ha. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Nothing like being the centre of attention 🙂
I love you all very very much, and would not be the person I am today without all of your support and encouragement throughout my life. (tear in the eye there- shh!). Love you all. Big kisses.
