Today:Hollyrood palace (Mary queen of scots bed chambers, the abbey, preserved rooms), monuments, greyfriar’s bobby, castle arms (lunch), the castle (one o clock gun, canons, the honours (crown jewels) and stone of destiny (sparkly!)), chocolate soup, the national gallery and Dean Gallery (Raphael, Botticelli, el greco, rembrandt, picasso, dali, munch, ernst, vulcan), Indian, kilts and bagpipes, the edinburgh football win.
Rummy, dark chocolate kit kats, ipod speakers. Walk from the hostel. Ravens as shorebirds.
