hoopy frood! hoopy frood!

I’m in a constant state of soreness these days. It’s good for me, right?  I just got through with another PT session, which went really well, except all of my difficulty levels have increased. It means I’m getting stronger, right? I might actually one day have upper body strength for the first time in my life. Craziness. I also started doing ab training, which I’m actually good at (unlike the freaking lat bar, which I suck at), so that bodes well for starting pilates (2 weeks).

It is goregous out, although seriously blustery. At the gym yesterday you could see the telephone poles swaying in the street. So, I think I’ll stick to the city tomorrow, instead of the Port Hills. I don’t want to be blown off a trail.

Oh – we had an earthquake on Thrusday. I didn’t feel it, but it was apparently 5 point something in Hammer Springs (Hamner? I forget).

Errand day today. And not much news on. I’m recreating playlists for the ipod. And then I’m going to LISTEN TO MUSIC ON MY 40 MIN WALK HOME!!! Also, I’m going to go start Good Omens later today. Yay!

Mick LaSalle’s top 5 movies for 2007 so far, “The two best films to premiere in San Francisco so far this year are 2006 releases, “The Lives of Others” from Germany and “After the Wedding” from Denmark. Of the 2007 releases, the best so far, in no particular order, are “Waitress,” “Bug,” “Live Free or Die Hard,” “3:10 to Yuma” and “Knocked Up.”” I’m surprised he didn’t think Zodiac. And… knocked up? seriously?

Cleolinda linkspam; “Hip-hop stars rally for Jena Six. “When the latest call for a protest over Jena Six came, it wasn’t led by Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, but rapper-actor Mos Def.” Well, that’s because Mos Def is a very hoopy frood.

Lost Writers Eye The End.

Fantastic celebrity portraits, or, Johnny Depp in Fur. [Ed: Fur is still wrong, even on Johnny Depp!]
