Lao…the Land of Slow Boats
Here we are in lovely Luang Prabang. Just arrived tonight after 2 days and 16 hours on a smoker-infested boat. A little worse for wear as Jeff picked up Becca’s stomach issues but we are here and looking forward to enjoying Lao.
We will post some pics and stories in the next day or two….so stay tuned. See ya soon!!!

We hope you are feeling better soon. We have some remedies that we would like to share with you. Here is a list of advice from your K-1 friends.
1. You should go to the doctor. – Connor
2. Eat healthy foods and don’t eat of drink any sweets. – Brendan
3. Take good care of yourself and take good medicine. – Nicole A.
4. I think you should use lots of those pills that you brought! – Kevin
5. Take a long rest. – Nate
6. My mom says that you should drink 7-Up when you have the stomach flu. – Amy
7. You should sleep in. – Erin
8. Stay at home. – David
9. Take the medicine that you brought! – Jordyn
10. Drink lots of liquids. -Karen
11. Eat apples, grapes and bananas. – Joseph
12. My mom likes eating mints when she has the stomach flu. -Anderson
13. Whenever you go on a trip, you should bring more than one bottle of pills. – Nathan
14. Wear warm clothes, eat healthy foods and take your medicine! – Emily
15. Eat carrot soup. -Tyler
We hope our advice works! We can’t wait see your pictures. Plug your nose next time you are on a boat with lots of smokers! Yuck!

We are so anxious to receive new pics and descriptive entries from you two…Are there alot of people changes from one country to another? Are they warm, gracious and english-speaking…..It wasn’t so long ago that we were all over their countries with war as our purpose. Any reactions from that perspective?

This is latest journey is beyoond my comprehension….I would have jumped overboard…no maybe not. I remember what the water looks like…ugh, ugh….what to do but keep on trekking….
