7.30am we got up all feeling very groggy and got a taxi to the airport and found a car rental place. The 3 of us had a couple of days before our flight to LA so we hired a Chrysler Sebring convertible and blasted down to Miami to visit Miami Beach for a couple of days. Another 250 mile drive but with the top down and the sun on us it soon went.
We found our way through Miami and drove the car down the strip at South Beach before parking up and going to explore. We easily got a hotel and went out for diner; it had been a long day so after much exploring we decided to have an early night before hitting the beach in the morning.

So Miami South Beach is just like something out the movies,
pic’s don’t do it justice and again you cant see all the people walking around, So Miami!!!! That afternoon we would need to drive back to Tampa so as we had the car we thought it better to use I t so drove south for like 3 hours to see Florida’s everglades and drive down to Key West which is lots of bridges linking islands, ( seen in the film True Lies towards the end of the movie when part of it gets blown up) it was a fab drive before turning around and driving back to Tampa we drove just over 500 miles that day and arrived at Tampa Airport at midnight.
