Tampa to LA
Our flight was not till 7.25 am so we got some sleep before making the flight.
The flight took us to Austin Texas before heading to Los Angeles. Ray one of Cathie’s friends picked us up from the airport at 11 am ( LA is -3 hours compared to Tampa so flight time was about 6.5 hours ) and took us to Cathie’s house. We all got showered and cleaned up before heading out for lunch. We went to a burger place that has the greatest burgers I’ve ever had. It’s a family run business and they can only be found in California, the place is called In and Out.
Back to Cathie’s loaded the car up and hit the road again to drive 6 hours to San Francisco to meet up with some of her friends, Christina and Ivan.

A few good pics mate. Look forward to hearing all about Coyote Ugly (must watch that DVD), your trip to the shooting range (I like the targets!) and your convertible hire-car (are american drop-tops as awful to drive as Jeremy Clarkson would have us believe)? – nice bonnet ornament though! Don’t know if you’ve heard but a British girl has been raped and murdered by two Thai fishermen in Thailand, Koh Samui. They are being sentenced today and should get the death penalty with a bit of luck, although technically if they plead guilty they should get this reduced to life imprisonment. All this just 4 days after being caught! Police tried to stage a reconstruction of the events on the beach where it happened, using the 2 scumbags who did it but had to abandon the idea when an angry crowd started gathering who wanted to kill the men.
