January 01, 2005Tjapukai & Kuranda Pictures
Pictures from our visit to Tjapukai Culture Center and then onto the city of Kuranda. Tajpukai Aborigini demonstrating the old ways of their Culture. Here they've shown us how they make fire - the old fashioned way. View from the SkyRail to Kuranda Us in the Tram... Rick took the picture! Barron Gorge Waterfalls. The water is held back in the dam during the dry season. They hadn't released more water yet, so what we're seeing is only a trickle of the flow during January. In full force, the waterfull is even more incredible! Rick and I at the View Point for Barron Gorge The old train we took back from Kuaranda to Cairns A spectacular view of Cairns from our route on the Train Comments
