Chinese Temple - very colorful. There was a large dragon the same as this tiger. You enter through the mouth and inside the body there are incredible murals of the lifes of budda. He had 10 lives.

We were biking around to the temples and the ruins.

Creamation place. In Thai they fill this area with wood and place the body on top of the wood in a very thin coffin. On top they put a beautiful wood "house" so the spirit will have a place to live when it gets to the afterlife. Their tradition is to watch the body burn. Our guide who was a monk for 17 years saw many funerals and said it was scarry watching the bodies burn.

They taught the baby how to paint a picture. It was adorable to watch. Of course we bought the painting!

Great to get your pictures. When I saw the elephants, I wondered if you'd be on one of them. And there you were! That realization that we have so much seems to be a common lesson learned by travelers to other cultures. Back to basics! Reverse culturalization I think it's called. You'll never be the same! So glad you had the chance to take your world tour. Look forward to talking to you when you return home. Love and God bless.
