So we had to delay. That happens. Normally when you cancel or delay it costs you money.

We have revised our plan and rebooked our flights. We now have direct flights to South Africa and we are doing less miles overall. We have managed to save $600 each and added extra destinations. The plan now is as follows:

- South Africa
- Ghana
- Togo
- Benin
- Niger
- Burkina Faso
- Mali
- Gambia
- Senegal
- USA (New York)
- Ecuador
- Panama
- Fiji

We have lost the Netherlands but added Central and South America. The trip to Ecuador includes a brief stop in Colombia so Customs will be having a long hard look at our party holes on the way back in!
