August 12, 2004Photos, fame, but not yet wealth
Hi everyone, I've now put up the photos from my trip into the Borneo rainforest. There are now photos on the pages Into the rainforest part one, two and three, and also on the page Certificate of Survival. Having a great time with my parents at the moment, will be writing about it soon. Oh, and have a look at a couple of my articles now published by other travel sites. Getting people to pay for my writing seems a step too far at present, but non payers are enthusiastic and complimentary... See: Escape from America: Murder and Horses Another company approached me to write some articles for their newsletters, but, after I sent them some work and received a very happy thumbs up from them, haven't heard anything since. But no worries... Best, Daniel Comments
Now that the very unflattering photo of me being strapped into a sarong is making its merry little rounds on travel sites, you do realise that I'll have to kill you if you ever set foot in Borneo again? :p Posted by: Gette on August 12, 2004 03:54 PMGette, you're famous! :) And so will Raquel now that her abuses are made public on a travel mag. LOL Congratulations on getting those articles published, by the way. Posted by: Bertha on August 12, 2004 04:59 PMYay for Daniel! *does happy dance* Posted by: bristolcities on August 12, 2004 10:26 PMCongrats, love the articles. I guess we 'Geek and Mental' girls now have a party reputation to uphold. Oh well I am sure one year is enough for us to recover!!!!! Till the next RWMF! LOL.... (I think some of us are greening at the thought!) Congrats! Posted by: 'The Dee' on August 13, 2004 12:23 AMYay for getting those articles published. So cool! Now the world knows about the "meek and gentle" Sarawakian girls :p We're famous now ;) Hmmm...talk about the wild women of Borneo! XD Posted by: sativa on August 14, 2004 02:38 AM |
