I've been slacking in the postings lately, but am working on a comprehensive post on the Hong Kong Trip. To tide you over, here are a couple of pictures we took in China last week...

This is a Chinese woman (duh) on a junk that was hanging around the area of the ship. It might have been one of the boats that met up to offload garbage or something...not sure. Still, she looked pretty neat with that basket hat on her head.

While in Shekou, we went to a market where you could buy pets...or dinner. Or a pet you could eat for dinner. It was your choice, as there were chickens and ducks and fish oh my!

An unlucky duck...he was on the dinner table for sure later that night somewhere in Shekou.
