May 11, 2005Costal Life
So I made it back to Spain . . . and after meeting up with my friend Callie and after a good 24 hours in my favourate city of Madrid I was ready to get out again. But Spain is starting to redeem its self; we made our way to the costal city of Alicante, which is about two hours south of Valencia. We are staying with our friend from college Nelson. (This is Nelson and his friend Antonio after they cooked us a wonderful meal!) We spend our days waking up at 12 (if we're feeling ambitious), laying on the beach all day, wandering the cute avenues of the old town, eating tapas in the evenings and going out all night. And it seems that all the people here do this. Even the ones who have school or work. Must be a hard life. But tomorrow Callie and I head out for the island Ibiza, which should be an interesting time. We will see . . . Comments
