I'm at the top of the hill that overlooks samye as well as everything else in all directions - it's amazing. and by hill I mean Mt. Hepori.

Incredibly tall, desert-like mountains create a backdrop for the flat landscape that extends in all directions. There are a few hills that dot the middle of the landscape. Sandy moguls shape the delta of the stream emptying into the long, winding river.
