Day 16
On the bus from Karlovy Vary to Prague.
You know, as happy as I am to be back on the road again, I get really tired of feeling like a complete idiot. The bus driver kept asking me something in Czech. Obviously I did not understand him. And apparently he does not speak exaggerated body language. But he just kept asking. Finally I deduced that he was asking about luggage. So I pointed to my backpack and said "one". He seemed to be satisfied with that answer..... but then he asked me the same darn question again. I had no idea what to say! I honestly just wanted to slip him a 50 note and tell him to leave me the hell alone.
He also drives a bit maniacle, and I wonder if I should have taken the train despite the fact that it takes longer and more expensive. Oh great, he just took a cell phone call.

On the bright side of things, I just met a girl from Taiwan studying Telecomm in England. She seems very nice and is travelling alone also, so we will probably hook up in Prague or Vienna. We have the exact same itinerary and obviously something in common.

Oh great, the bus just broke down.
